Helping leaders shape the future of work - one meeting at a time

Julia Baker the Founder of Mindful Meetings

I believe the future of work requires a fundamental shift in how we collaborate, connect, and lead. Yet most organisations are stuck in patterns that their drain people of energy, rather than energise and inspire them to work at their best.

Why This Matters To Me

After two decades of working in corporate environments, I've seen the true cost of poorly designed workplaces. I've experienced burnout repeatedly throughout my career and I’ve watched talented colleagues struggle with the same. Endless back-to-back meetings, ineffective hybrid working practices, and the relentless pressure to do more… with less. Sound familiar?

As a late diagnosed autistic professional, I've always experienced workplace dynamics differently to others. I’ve adapted, but at a great cost. My experience at work and recent learning about neurodiversity has shown me just how outdated and non-inclusive many traditional work practices are.

So many people are leaving the corporate world looking for something different, and it doesn’t have to be this way.

A Different Approach

I believe that work places can be inclusive and enjoyable by design. The rise of AI and hybrid working isn't just another challenge to navigate—it's an opportunity to fundamentally reimagine how we work.

Imagine a word where people have the right conditions to work to their best, to use their natural talents and enjoy time spent at work. Going home with energy to spend quality time with the family or on interests outside of work.

I believe we can create work environments where:

  • We have uninterrupted time to do deep thinking and creative work.

  • Meetings are minimised. The ones we attend energise and become an enjoyable part of the day, connecting people and fueling progress.

  • We are inclusive by design. different perspectives are valued and known to strengthen teams.

  • People thrive both in and outside of work

  • We have a bit of fun along the way

Working Together

I partner with leaders who are ready to do things differently.

Leaders who understand that the old command-and-control approach isn't serving anyone. Who see that making work more human isn't just about wellbeing—it's about unleashing their team's full potential.

The workplace is changing. Will you help shape that change, or get left behind?

Let's create a workplace where your team truly thrives.
